Yikes, I just realised I forgot to put my first post into this section. Instead I started blaring out my questions straight away (and even got some good answers, thanks)

So I reckon best catch up on the custom and introduce myself and my ride.

I'm a software engineer from Sydney and have recently bought a 2011 Golf VI Variant 118TSI Comfortline.
In the 5 or so months I have done a few minor modifications (upgraded interior and license plate lights to LEDs, brighter halogen headlights, added puddle/door warning lights, upgraded RCD310 to RCD510), but I'm planning to do a bunch more these next few weeks and months.

First off I'm installing footwell lights for the rear seats. Just finished crimping a custom wire harness, that'll neatly click in between the respective front footwell light's power connector and lamp housing, meaning no wires will be cut on the factory wiring.

Next I plan to add a reversing camera and rear PDC with OPS, and after that, who knows.

Anyway, good to have found this board and I look forward to exchanging knowledge with y'all.
