Amarok TSI noob

Howdy people,

Long time lurker; first time poster.

Name’s Tim. I’m in Sydney. 38 years young. 2 mortgages & also 2 boys, aged 6 & 3.

Recently bought a 2013 Amarok TSI so that I can lug tools around. After 17 years as a designer, a couple of months ago I decided to get on the tools & become a handyman. Harder work than sitting behind a laptop but I’m loving it. I put an APR tune on the Amarok just last week (couldn’t resist the 15% off sale). Have questions about this but will reserve them for a different post.

I also have a 2010 2.0T Audi A4 Avant (beautiful car but the Amarok has replaced this car & so it’s now for sale, if anyone’s looking) & an APR tuned 2009 MK6 Golf 118TSI (Comfortline with Sports Pack), which is a really fun car to drive but which my other half drives almost exclusively these days & so, sadly, it’s no longer being utilised to its full potential & its clutch now gets a regular workout 😬

Over the years, I’ve owned - in this order - a VH Commodore, a VN Commodore, a Hyundai Coupe, a Corolla, a Forester, the Golf, the A4, & now the Amarok. They were all modded to a certain degree - some a little & some a lot - with the exception of the Audi, which is bone-stock as I liked it the way it was.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself but I’ve ended up crapping on a bit, sorry.
