Can i ask where you put a deposit down for one? I'm considering doing this for one in Sydney but waiting until i can get some more detail on pricing. Its been suggested it might be between $45k and $50k on road. Cheers

Hope this info helps. I am a sales manager at a Volkswagen dealership, but Am actually leaving to another industry. I am also buying a Golf Alltrack.

Volkswagen have said the pricing will be under $40k. I reckon that means $39,990 + ORC. Comparably priced cars end up being $45k drive away. Add $1300 for Driver Assist package (remembering rear assist and blind spot assist don't feature as part of this pack as in other Golfs), $500 for premium paint and $3000 for the Sports Pack (Pano roof and Canyon alloys).

I can tell you they are ready to go but won't be released to dealers until launch. End of September was mooted in the spec release but potentially this may move out to mid October when the new Passat launches.

Just to add: go to your dealer, make your choices and put under the special conditions section of your contract that if the price is above $xxxxxx then you retain the right to pull out of the deal. You might not care if it's a bit over come the time but better to secure a car now. It will also give your dealer time to swap out their car for one you are after before they all move off the wharf (so to speak) if they don't have it.

    Alltrack golf

I put a $1000 down at a dealer in melbourne but subject to price and test drive. Comes in 6 colours. I also need a towbar but the dealer said one is available for about $2000. The best feature is Apple Carplay. So excited

Golf wagon does not have a genuine tow bar. Don't see that changing with the Alltrack (none listed). There is a cool one overseas that flips underneath - YouTube it, but not ADR compliant here.

Still tossing up between Limestone and White myself. And whether DAssist is actually going to be any benefit to me.

Ive gone for DAssist even though the package is weakened by removing blindspot function. Do you know if the driver seat is manually adjustable or electronic? Just looking at the spec sheet it appears silent on the matter.

Cheers for this info. The dealer i've been in contact with here in Sydney has provided the below info. He has also provided a fuller spec for a reflex silver vehicle that i am personally keen on. I was assuming that with the limited vehicle numbers initially dictated that i wouldnt be able to configure the vehicle to my preference and that to get an early vehicle i'd have to take the spec on offer. If anyone else knows differently please share. As recommended I might well put a deposit down on the proviso that the vehicle doesn't exceed a total of $45k on road. Many thanks. Mark

Volkswagen has not released pricing as yet, but they have indicated that the Golf Alltrack will start under 40k plus on roads,
Leather, sat nav, Bi-xenon headlights, front and rear sensors, rear camera, blue tooth and many more as standard,
I do have the following colours available, Pure white, Reflex silver, limestone grey, Deep black and Night blue,
We are only receiving 10 vehicles this year, please let me know if you are happy to reserve a new Alltrack Golf, subject to inspection and test drive?
