    9N Polo GTi in Canberra

    G'Day guys n gals.

Just picked up a low-km 2007 Polo GTi in Canberra on the weekend which I'm pretty happy with. I had a 2008 model a couple years ago, but it had big km so I didn't bother doing any mods to it.

Figured I'd join the forums, it keeps popping up with answers for all my google search questions, so seemed to make sense.

I ride sportsbikes quite a lot, so was just after a fun little hatch for when the weather is crap, plus for longer trips. I've had quite a few cars, mostly Holden v8's and Jap imports. The VW is a nice change, I plan on keeping it for a little while

I don't plan on doing any major mods to it, other than installing a new DVD headunit I had in a previous car with some matching speakers (the standard stereo is nothing flash) for now.
However MAYBEEEE looking at a tune, seems these things are quite restricted and have a lot of potential.

Otherwise just replacing service items with better aftermarket stuff as required along the way.

    Anyways, G'day and cheers

    Welcome to the forum.

Be silly not to do a tune and maybe a downpipe first. The Polo is so much better with another 50hp. The brakes can handle it and the suspension can just about cope too.

If you fancy trying out a Custom Code Phase 1 tune let me know. I have a tuned ECU you can swap in to try out.

    Cheers Gavin
Haha that's what I keep telling myself, it's such a huge jump %-wise for the dollars, seems to make a lot of sense. Quite the offer on the ECU swap too.
I was going to send you a PM about the timing belt anyway, so we'll chat more then
