I have no idea what wet box is but I read that diesel 6 speed model has two clutches, one for even and one for odd gears. Can/should transmission be serviced? What's a new transmission worth I wonder?

A Wet box is like a motor bike has clutches in oil (afaik) a dry box is like any car clutch , floats in mid air
They all have two clutches as one does 1 3 5 7 and other does 2 4 6.
Its in the service manual when each part gets serviced
I used to hold mine on the brake hard enough to hold the car still but not hard enough to make engine stop was ok for 47,000km Last questions answer is between $4k and about $8k depending on the car. Clutches are up to $5k
