    2009 VW Polo GTi

    Good afternoon all

I have recently purchased one of the last 9N GTi's. Finally bought one after selling the XR5 Focus, and very happy. The pleasing thing is simply the build quality, colour is reflex silver just 49,000 km's and has all the knobs including sunroof, leather etc.

Brilliant to drive, only minor problem is a rattle in the sunroof when tilted. Will post some photos in the next week or so, sits on 17" Siata alloys, slightly lowered and has the full honeycomb grille, black badging and personalised plates (GT109).

    Cheers M

Congratulations mate. Must have been hanging around a while when it was new. I don't think I have heard of another that "new"/

When it turns out not to be fast enough send me a message and I'll fix that for you

    Cheers

Thanks for the comments Gavin, I am a finance guy working in the car industry, this GTi was actually built 2008 complied 2009 and first delivered in January 2010, my guess is it was a special order and the buyer pulled out and the dealer was stuck with an overpriced polo, probably waited for the VW factory bonus and then sold it after 18 months in the pound !

It also had the VW Siata 17's - would like to sell these and have been looking for the 17 inch 'long beach' alloys which I think were on the early Jetta's (5 x 100) - will post some photos as mentioned ....

    Welcome.

The MkV golf stuff isn't interchangeable with our cars, I'm not aware of any part that is. Mk IV stuff is moreso, but not all. Not sure of their wheel fitment off the top of my head, many others would know it though. Plenty of go fast bits available for them nowadays.
Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII
    Daily: 2010 VW Jetta Highline
Gone but not forgotten: 08 Polo GTI
