Hey Guys and Girls,

My names Bill and I am here to ask a few questions, the golf belongs to my girlfriend so naturally its my problem. I own a Classic mini and this feels like I am behind enemy lines!! I don't mind the golf however currently its giving me a few issues. On this note If Brian from GTI imports ventures on here I would like to thank him as he has been a tremendous help in sorting out the brake upgrade I just completed. He is very knowledgeable and just as helpful.

My problem relates to a leaking brass fitting on the fuel injection pump, right next to where the return fitting/banjo is for the fuel. The Brass or zinc plated fitting looks to have a small allen key grub screw in it, possibly a mixing screw. I cannot access it unless I take the back plate for the timing cover off or the fuel injection pump off! My question is whats the best way to get to it? What is it? Its leaking diesel! I will post a pic when I am aloud to!
