    1.4 TSI cam chain

    Hi I have a 1020 118 TSI Jetta which has developed excessive cam chain noise on start up its done 15000K, always had regular oil changes all country mikes and used full Synthetic oil never thrashed ever we had it from 11K has anyone else had an issue with this?

    Plenty of examples. Have a browse through the forums. I'd also be concerned about cracked pistons. Those engines are hand grenades.
