    Winter power

Good to have some cold moist mornings and evenings back again. I reckon it's got to be good for at least another 10kw, if not more compared to a summer's day. Amazing the difference it makes to the Tig.

Won't be much of a difference on the stock cars. However the chipped TSIs will have more POWER .....

Similar result can be had all year round by upgrading the intercooler .... S3 / APR / Other ... any larger FMIC with better airflow will do .....

After the brake upgrade I'll be going that route ....

Cause you drive normally and standard Tig has plenty of usable power for normal driving. How ever you should notice the small improvement in the fuel economy.

Maybe the small improvement in fuel economy comes from not using the aircon when it's cold.

phew, I was begining to think it was all in my head. Difference bewtween hot summers day and cool misty night is significant.

Which leads me to think that bigger intercooler would be very good upgrade with the CAI for the Tig.

Of course I could just move to NZ!

My diesel is noticably down on power when its just started on these cold mornings. Makes leaping out into traffic from my driveway a heart-stopping adventure.
