Will this wheel fit me Tiguan??

HI all, its been a while and its been tough financially so spending on the car was forbidden by the boss.

This time has passed now and I am 2 weeks away from getting ARP tune done.

I found this steering wheel on gumtree and was wondering if anyone knew if this would fit a 2012 155?

I would say it will. But it's an incomplete wheel the air bag along might cost more than the wheel the paddles will need coding but there are people here that can do that.

+1 you would probably be better off getting a brand new steering wheel and airbag.

The one off gumtree is likely out of a wreck where the airbag has been deployed. You'll be up for the airbag + wiring harness which will add another $500 to the price. By the time you do this it's not far off the cost of the brand new complete wheel.

I was lucky to pick up a complete. Passat CC DSG. Steering wheel for $550. I then sold my Tiguan one for $325. On EBay. So it worked out pretty cheap for me. This is the similar one to what I bought. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...obalID=EBAY-AU

Yeh your Tiguan airbag will not fit the gumtree gti wheel. You will need a airba from a gti mk6 or newer caddy/polo and airbag loom and then code in the paddle shifters

Save your money on what is to all intents and purposes a pretty useless mod and take you wife out to a nice dinner to thank her for being your financial conscious!
