Cool What is the 0-100km time for Tig stage 1 ECU upgrade?

    Hi Guys

I've been trying to discover what the 0-100km time is for a Tig that has just had the APR ECU upgrade and
    nothing else?

Can anyone help? or direct me to where this info might be already held.

    Thanks

A 0-100km/h time depends on many things, traction, road surface, how hard you are willing to launch etc ....

I have only done 1 timed run with our Stg2 Tiguan, timed on a G-Tech Pro SS, with no revving before launch & no wheelspin, essentially a normal street launch as I would normally launch on the road at the lights. Did a 6.61s ..... I believe there is an easy 6.0s (or even less) in it with a better (more agrresive) launch and better gear changes (hit the limiter in 1st which slowed it all down) along the way.

Stg 1, I believe a normal street launch will return a 7.0s and an all out launch a 6.5s .... in a manual.

An auto Stg 1 TSI Tiguan (125 or 147 does not matter) will be 0.5 - 1.0s slower than that.

I intend on doing more testing with the G-Tech but to find a suitable time & place etc with everything else over weekends is hard ...

there is a run by an auto in the US with APR stage 1 and an air intake. It did high 14's (about 14.7) for the standing 1/4, and but cant see a posted a 0-60mph time as well, but lookk around that site and you may find it. Note not exactly the same as 0-100klm/hr as 100klm/hr is 61mph - but very close.

    auto here http://www.dragtimes.com/Volkswagen-...lip-18434.html

more recent manual here http://www.dragtimes.com/Volkswagen-...lip-20609.html and see Kr racings thread on his time which was the same - 14.5 for standing quarter, 6.5 0-100 manual.

if you are thinking of doing the APR upgrade, just do it, you'll love it

For what it's worth my auto Tig consistently does 7.4 sec 0-100 times according to Dynolicious (may be consistently wrong!) on a normal street launch and a full tank of fuel.

Thanks for that info. is that with the APR ECU upgrade or the GIAC? i.e. what kW are you running now? Also how do you find the Dynolicious software?

GIAC tune. I wouldn't be able to tell you how many kW. I got the dynolicious out of interest and would not know if it is accurate at all.
