Also - do you just go to the dealer and get them to order them in and fit them for you?

    Thanks
    Hi,

I paid $995 for the side steps, fitted and all.
I'm just back from my holidays where we took a few long dirt roads, some in better conditions than others, but there is no damage from stones. I think the side steps have prevented that.

I warned for this in the side step thread as well (and we found out the hard way): The original VW jack doesn't fit on the jack points anymore when you have side steps. So get another jack. The tires are tubeless, so easy to fix, but you do need to be able to take them off...

I picked up a boot liner from www.booter.com.au

Really happy with the quality, cost $114 plus $10 postage

They're based at Eagle Farm in brisbane so I collected

Are they (boot liners) made from the same sort of material as floor mats? How's the fit and does it limit the ability to use the hooks on the sides of the boot as well as the child restraints? Pics would be good as I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these. Can you just go out to Eagle Farm and look at one and try it in your boot prior to purchasing?

They're more of a hard but flexible plastic on top. There are cutouts for the child restraints.

You can't order online if you're picking up, I turned up and tried in the boot first then paid. Might be best to call first as he said they were pretty popular for the Tig
