So are we getting the 18 or 28 degree front?

And crap ... no 19" Savannah and extended wheel arches option!

Is this offset by the Park Assist and other bundled options or are we better to up to the 155TSI DSG?
I'd wait and get the DSG, our Tig is the slush box and going from my Jetta to the Tiguan is like going from a Bentley to a Proton.

    But Proton own Lotus now

I would wait too, slushbox in my test drive was clunky and won't be as good on resale.

However i went manual becaue i fear if the DSG breaks.

Whats the go Volkswagen? Wheres the keyless entry? Stereo Upgrade? Lane Assist? Do the Xenons have Dynamic Light Assist?
Why can't they give us the options to choose from that Europe have?

Gonna have to keep saving for the Q3, where i can at least order the options i want! Grrrr! Making me ANGRY!

...and who knows, maybe it will be more wanted than the DSG.
For a second when I read that the 6sp. auto would be available again I was thinking of changing the ordered TDI for that Pacific with 6 sp. auto. Cause, I trust the auto more than the DSG in the long run.
Don't discount that 6 sp. auto it is made by Aisin and is good for 450Nm.

For those upset about not having Dynaudio as an upgrade option, you can do better aftermarket for less.

Not happy either - I heard murmurings that Dynaudio was going to be unavailable but I was really banking on Keyless Entry/Start - I have both in my present car and it will be very hard to get used to the lack of keyless (as I remember every time I drive my partners Jetta...).

As much as I would like a Q3, the 180km (each way) drive to the dealer for any warranty issue would be a PITA. Also, given past form as a "prestige" brand, the Q3 will probably be unavailable with cloth trim and come standard with vinyl like the Q5 - urgh...

Yes, but unless you are chasing something special, it is nice knowing your new car doesn't have to be pulled apart...

I would select the factory audio upgrade but wouldn't change it aftermarket - somehow also seems easier to finance a factory option than pay a chunk of cash out of your pocket (!)

Isn't the 6 speed auto-tiptronic the troublesome one?

Who would prefer the slush box to the Tig's current DSG? Perhaps they should have held off on the facelift until the new DSG became available or else buyers will feel jipped if the more expensive DSG option becomes available later at the same price.

I think the current run-out model is the way to go for the moment. Aggressively priced too and significantly under the BMW X1 which has lovely handling.
