LOL Mexico ! Not quite that far away...
Your DP will be here by then - already jigged up
Just the main shipment that's coming slightly later for stock. But we'll have DP's available to custom order.
CAI is en route - I'd like to borrow your Tig and check the fitment if that's cool

Yeah well - sometimes seems like all the sensible ones have moved up here to be with us other Gringos
No probs with having the Tig for a few days when the DP arrives (needs to be retuned as well anyway).
Cheers

A couple of photos of the intake. Kit is not quite finished as the filler tube for the washer bottle needs to find a new home, however intake is on and fully functional.
Induction noise is quite noticeable now and diverter valve actually has to operate ocasionally. All good, but something to get used to.
Unfortunately due to time constraints the intercooler didn't get on - still some work for fitting kit here for the Tig.
Hopefully the catback exhaust is in the next shipment along with the (possible) brake kit..... we'll wait and see

Really wish we'd known over Xmas as my Tig went back into storage until April in Sydney as I'm overseas. I would have been more than happy to get it down to you.
Initial impressions after the first 24 hours is that I'm loving my new hardware bits and how the car drives.
Actually after the disappointment of finding out the exhaust and FMIC weren't going on I'm actually thinking it's not such a bad thing. This way I get to experience the changes in stages rather than having everything done in one hit.
The 3" DP is marginally louder and has lower pitch at idle. Though once moving the difference is hardly noticeable.
The intake on the other hand has quite a noticeable hiss and induction noise when accelerating particularly at lower low rpm. The diverter valve is working a lot more of the time (I can't remember hearing it before).
Performance-wise the tune has you pressed firmly into the seat when accelerating. Best 0-100 time without launching it is 7.08sec so noticeably quicker than stock.
So launching should see it in the low 6's. Though this is with Viezu performance tune. Motorsport / vrace tune (when released) would definitely put it into the 5's.
Did you by chance drive the car with only the DP? no tune
I wouldnt mind the dump pipe if it helps to give it more power down low but not really a fan of getting it if it only performs better once its been tuned.... Although i know it wouldnt gain everything it can without the tune, surely the stock ECU would be capable of compensating enough to make some difference
I am not after a race car, i just want to try and remove some of that damn dead spot down low
