I run KU31 on the Octavia. They were supposedly shagged when I bought the wheels & I've got another 10,000km out of them, so my experience is with a very worn tyre. They are a very good all-rounder & I would buy again.
By all accounts KU19 is a fraction better in the wet & a fraction quieter but I'd still get the KU31. Have you got a price from Option1 Garage yet?

wow, that's great Clay. I'll give them a call tomorrow for sure. Seems the 31's are a bit softer ride and bit quieter than the 19's, so with the H&R's might be the better way to go.
Hey all, I also have the KU31's on mine..(came with the wheels from Tempe Tyres). Very happy with the tyres. No squeals...even when pushed hard. Very good grip, both in the wet and the dry.
I would buy them again.

Congrats on the wheel/tyre purchase tigger.
Will definitely have to get some pictures up.
Thanks Team_v...
I will take some proper shots next time I wash it. There are quick snaps on the Tempe tyres web-site gallery...
I was close to getting yours, but didnt want to ruin your exclusivity. Yours look great!

Hey team_v, I'm still looking for 19" tyres for my S5 Reps.
Not many choices really in 245/45R19 whether here or overseas!
So might just go with sourcing KU31s locally.
But can I just ask whether the $200 per corner you mentioned was for this size? If so, then how long ago was this?
As I've done the rounds and everybody's doing them for around $250.
I was told $200 from tempe back in June when i ordered my wheels/tyres in this size.
Option1 quoted me $200 but i believe this was for a 255/40R19 which wasn't load/speed rated for the Tig.
$250 is still pretty reasonable though.
I would see if you can knock them down to $200 or if you get a discount from being a member or some motoring group.
Also see if they have any other options cheap (i know some Bob Jane places up here were doing deals on Michelin Pilot Sport PS3's a month ago)
