Traffic doesn't work in Aus.
It was covered in the mk6/audio section recently.
I believe there is a connection you can get from ecstuning etc that will alow tv in the car but i have no need for it so haven't explored the posibility of it yet.

TV isn't too hard to get working but does require either the VW modules or some aftermarket ones, there are many ways to go about it but none are cheap if you want a reasonable result.
Do a search on Suna and/or TMC and you'll find plenty of discussions about the useless system we have in Australia.

How did you go with the TV in the RNS510 unit?
While I haven't tried the TV on an RNS unit, I have on a avc9000. It works great, as long as you have a good signal. For an understanding of what happens, switch on your home TV, get your wife to stand on the roof and slowly revolve the aerial around. Now imagine that same situation in your car ever time you turn a corner, change direction etc. I know there are some costly aerial systems out there that improve it, but from what I've read they're still not perfect.
being most tuners these days are DVB tuners that made the TV almost unwatchable when signals are low... digital TV just froze or blackout when there's not enough signal rather than just getting 'dust' like the old analog signal when the signals are low...
had a DVB-T on my previous V35 skyline JDM import, a bit of a waste really IMHO. I ended up hardly ever watch or listen to it due to its signal kept dropping out, even with what's considered one of the better aerial on front and rear windscreen. the distance to the tv transmitter tower in your town or city would also make a lot difference as if you live on the wrong side of the town then tough luck getting any good signal from a moving car.
