And we couldn't be happier!
Our VW rep has been great to deal with and went over the car with us in detail. Everything from the bonnet release on the passenger side, boot cover latch rest when accessing the spare, to "this is wear it shows you how little petrol you have... don't let it get to here"... lol - really!? Love your work Nick!!
We even scored a free First Aid Kit and he went over the fact that initially as the engine runs in the Tig will use up more of the oil than normal and due to this, he included a free bottle a VW 'special' oil for when t needs to be topped up. Advised to come back for the free 1,000Km service (will do!!) and ongoing 15's (hmm, not sure about that one)
Car looks immaculate (at least before the rain), only had 17kms on it (happy with that) and drives better then I remembered
Despite the rains effort to ruin the pickup, it held off just enough for me to get home and test out the Launch Control
Love it!!
Then our 1 year old daughter gave it a half hour kid test - crawled over everything, played with every detail. Faaark she even managed to get the radio on within 10 seconds of getting in the Tig and cranks up the tunes so she can dance... god help me! My 8 year old son was another story... "Oh man, that is sooooooooooo cool!!"
Was hoping to get some pics up but the weather had other ideas so I'll see what happens over the weekend
Will leave you with this little teaser that I LOL'd at when I noticed :
Hahahah VW symbol IN the headlight! Classic! (Actually I think I remember reading this somewhere)
They make a tidy package ole VW:
(Sorry for the povo iPhone snaps, but i had to beat the rain)
Tomorrow will hopefully be filled with better weather, Tig detailing and "cosmetic customisations"
I know it's still less than 6 hours since pickup, but we're very happy with our selection.
Oh, we still need to go back on Wednesday to get the reverse sensors fitted, but can you tell how much I care?
Now, time to read the manual
