    Tiguan valve tiiming ???

Hi was wondering if anyone knew how to time the cams on a 2.0ltr cr tdi engine code is CBAB, just done a valve replacement due to cambelt failure and i am concerned that i dont have the cam to cam timing right. Does anyone know the procedure or where i can get the Tool to do it??? dont really feel like giving it to the dealers to sort out. Any Help would be great.

You're going to have to track down a copy of the Elsa workshop manuals. These are a bit tricky to assemble.

I believe there's corresponding marks on the gears, but I'm not sure. Once you get them in pase with eachother, the exhaust cam, with pulley fitted, needs to be locked in position once fitted in the head, at TDC. There's a pin that goes through the pulley and into a blind hole in the end of the head, at about 7-o'clock in relation to the exhaust cam seal.

Thanks for the reply guys, i marked the cam gears when i pulled it apart, but putting back together, marks align but inlet cam is not allowing me to access the head bolts, could the gears have moved on the cams when the valves bent??? will have to get some elsa information!!!
