very funny....errr......how much!
by the way I've always wondered - can anyone tell me exactly what nitrous does, its already oxidized isn't it (nitrous oxide), so does it help create a denser air/fuel mixture?

Tiguan TSI Catalina blue, Manual
When you heat nitrous oxide to about 300 degrees C, it splits into oxygen and nitrogen. So the injection of nitrous oxide into an engine means that more oxygen is available during combustion. Because you have more oxygen, you can also inject more fuel therefore produces more power. Nitrous oxide has another effect that improves performance even more. When it vaporizes, nitrous oxide provides a significant cooling effect on the intake air. When you reduce the intake air temperature, you increase the air's density, and this provides even more oxygen inside the cylinder.
Probably one of the best explanations:

Quote: For example, in New South Wales, Australia, the Roads and Traffic Authority Code of Practice for Light Vehicle Modifications (in use since 1994) states in clause 3.1.5.7.3 that The use or fitment of nitrous oxide injection systems is not permitted
Damn!! That means I'm out... unless of course Guy you can fit these in 'Stealth Mode'
2011 Tiguan | 125TSI (5N) | Deep Black | DSG (7-speed) | Launch Control | 4Mo | Fog | Comfort | Bluetooth | MDI (USB + iPod) | Roof Bars | Rear Sensors | Floor Mats | First Aid Kit
So i did some research on wikipedia and it turns out they only specify the EA113 engine for the tiguan, not the EA888.
Do we know for sure what one runs in the Tig TSI?
