Do you think you'd have any warranty issues if they see that torque arm insert in there? Hmm, maybe need to find a black one

Doubt if the dealer mechanics would even notice an insert. Theyd be hard pressed to even recognise what car they are working on IMO.

Mine would go straight to a specialist for servicing and only see a dealer if a warranty issue raised its head.

H&R Front and Rear sway bars (available as a set only) $1,116 plus $45 postage. Talk to GTI Dave if you want some. It is a great price, but I'm skipping on it for now.

Still getting the H&R Sport Springs though.

Think i'll have to get the springs also, that's a damn good price. Pity they'll be sitting in the garage all alone for so long though

Same with me, I've been going to Canberra Volkswagen Centre with the VR6 and will continue to do so with the Tig, big ups to Michael at Tuggeranong he's an excellent mechanic and loves his dubs

so do the states get a the tiggy with GTI 147kw engine?
And also a 125 TSI or TDI engine,
    and the 103kw TDI engine?

Here in New Zealand we only have the 103kw available.

As far as I know, the states only get the 147 and the bigger TDi - whatever that is.

Have you sold your VR6 yet? I had a 1995 Silver VR6 with leather (and some mods) many years ago and every time I see a VR6 now I still have a nostalgic moment. Problem is they are so expensive to run once the milage adds up. I Sold mine on 170 000km.
