    Stage 1+ = ECU + any 1 or 2 of upgraded FMIC, intake & exhaust
    Stage 2 = ECU + upgraded FMIC, intake & exhaust = 210kw/430NM
    Stage 2+ = Stage 2 + Audi S3 (K04) Turbo upgrade = 240kw/450NM
    Stage 3 = Stage 2 + big turbo upgrade + a few other extras = 280kw/500NM
    And beyond = Engine inernals & even bigger turbo = 350+kw
    Apparently the APR fuel pump adds about 20kw also so I'm told?

    Not on the Tiguan I'm afraid ...... good news though ... Tiggys come with an uprated fuel pump & injectors from the factory and is good up to Stage 3 ....

    Stage 3 kit substantially cheaper on the Tiguan than on the GTI because of that .... ....

    maybe I need to speak to Guy. I'm working off $$$ estimates from US site. I'd only go with Stage 3, but would need full install costs including clutch, flywheel intercooler upgrades etc added to final price.

    Personally I'd never go past the S3 kit (Not stage 3) on the Tiguan. K04 Turbo with exhaust, FMIC and intake will see you at about 250kw/450NM which will do me just fine.

    I would probably actually stop performance upgrades at the intake and ECU stage though. I have ordered a Carbonio intake in ....

    Doing cosmetics now only. Radio, sunglass holder, suspension, wheels, crossdrilled brake discs etc coming up shortly ....

    EDIT: and a downpipe & cat if it ever becomes available

    Wheels, intake, full turboback and stage 2 ECU are where I'm pretty sure I will stop. This will likely take me at least a full year or more to acquire, assuming the turboback even becomes available. Should have the intake as a christmas present.

    Mmmmm, .... just had a thought, the R will have all the S3 bits I need for the Tig on it (if it will fit) and then I only need to buy 1 x Stage 3 kit for the R .....
