Nice work. I read through your thread a while ago but cant remember all the details. Stage 2, is that chip intake and exhaust still running the standard turbo? Yeah, I'd love to come along one day and check it out. From what I've read, the 7-spd DSG in the Tig is the same DQ500(?) in the TTRS rated for 600Nm so the gearbox could handle stage III, but I've been wondering about the rest of the system handling it as you mentioned.
The only thing that's bothering me is the Stage III comes with intake and intercooler for close on $8300. The K04 conversion i $4400 without an intercooler or intake, add the carbonio and intercooler and your looking at ~$7200. For an extra $1000 you get another 100hp... I guess that's what my whole thread is about really, how much power is enough (and worth the dollars)? I know thats like how long is a peice of string...
I think a K04 would give a similar power to weight ratio of a VE SS off the top of my head... I could live with that. Again, I know it comes down to what youre happy with, but experienced opinions help!
