    Tiguan Sports Body Kit

    Hi all,

I'm in the middle of ordering a Tig and am delighted to be part of this informative forum.

I have a question about a dealer fitted option ie. the Sports Body Kit as per the current brochure. Has anyone got it fitted to their Tig, or are there any pics of the kit?

    Regards

No one that i know of has it fitted.

Seems a bit of a waste as it's purely for aesthetics and costs over 2k for very little change.
Would be cheaper through the US i believe.

You might want to look at the R-Line kit, or aftermarket bits from abt/caractere if you are going for bodywork.
also, i believe they are selling the kits on vwvortex.

Yes it's purely for aesthetics I just wanted something different from the plastic front and rear.

But at 2K... might be a goer since I'm giving up on the RNS510.

will have to see what deal I can get.

Have you seen the pictures of it?
It is just a metallic bump stop at the front and rear that sits in the plastic.

I would go the R-line or US kit if i went anything.

I am spending the 2k on suspension, wheels/tyres etc.

As for performance upgrades an APR remap will be my first port of call.

the R-line kit is that a genuine VW equipment?

The R-line kit is genuine VW, however we don't get it here, and i don't know if you can get it overseas.
The US kit looks better than the aus one imho.

That link is the sports kit for australia yes.

APR is the best mod you will do to the car.

    No problems

Let us know what you decide to do.

Could be the first tig owner with a bodykit in Aus.

    I want those 19" Bi-Colour wheels!!!!

When are they going to be available in Australia????

More specifically, when are replicas going to be available in Australia??

They would look so good on my Black 147, i cant find anything that looks quite like them.

Why not email the dealer from vortex.
I am sure he would be able to ship them to you and they would be competitively priced with other 19" wheels.
