A photo from Bunker Bay on the weekend. (South West of Western Australia) Did a little 'real' 4wd'n, and have no idea how I get through it, but I did... too busy concentrating to get any pics though

...next time!

Getting down to this spot also made me reconsider my 19" rims I'm looking at...

Wheels suit it nicely.

Since it has GTI badging, does that mean it's chipped or something?

Hi All,

Yep, chipping is the plan. The way I fugure it, I could have put R badges on due to the power of the APR going to 189KW. However I guess the GTI badges suit the look of the wheels.

Plus it keeps a little suprise up my sleeve compared to the 160 odd kw of the GTI golf!

wheels look unreal tigger! I want them. Love the GTI badging, I reckon that'll get right under the noses of some of them though!

and sticking on an R badge would have probably caused a riot

Looks like I might have to get me one of those bonnet protectors. Cleaned the car yesterday and noticed a pretty bad stone chip in the bonnet. Anyone know where I can get me one of those bonnet protectors at a good price? Are they easy enough to install?

The bonnet protectors are not more than $80 odd if I remember correctly...from VW.

Very easy to install.

I dont really like the look of too much plastic on it, but I do alot of country KMs so it is a great compromise. 60,000kms later and no bad chips anywhere on the bonnet...

Thanks. I don't like the look of them either but after seeing the size of the chip I now have in my bonnet I think I need to get me one!!!
