I think he may be referring to the stock map rather than a physical fit?

Aaaah... Hmmmm possibly...!
Yup,it does look great n sweet!! but too bad the tmc piggyback im using doesnt click well with the cai..making my ride unstable during slow acceleration but if full throttle...Vroom n Swoosh!! the simota shark cai is the latest design..if u notice from the pic attached, the front air box is for storage...therefore able to maintain smoother delivery of air with the right setup. this cai is gti mk6 specific...therefore fit nicely without any hassle...plug n play stuff...20min job installation with the right tools...
i will keep it for later use once i chip my tig with APR stg1...for time being staying stock...haha...
P/S: it does make a high pitch 'EE' sound during full throttle in s mode...can hear obviously within the car cabin...but i've been told its absolutely normal...
Aaah! Thanks for clarifying Gary. So it's the piggyback unit that's not coping well w the CAI. yes it's a meaaaan lookin CAI man! Haha I've got the APR CAI took me a while to install just cos I was fiddling w some stuff as well and the metal clip for the APR mounting to the front was a little off. But it's quite an easy job. I also hear the *heeesssssssssssssh* when the car is driving like its sucking more air in. It's quite noticeable in the cabin. But nothing like what some claim to increase the 'farting' sound of the DSG changing. I think the 'farting' sound is practically non existent in the Tiguan.
I've heard my ex-hsemate's Mk5 that is APR Tuned, had the APR CAI and ran an aftermarket exhaust. Daaaamn the farting sound is superbly amazing!! How can we get the TIGUAN to fart like that, does anyone know????? Hhahaha
As far as I aware, it has absolutely nothing to do with the intake and is purely the exhaust at play - I think it has something to do with back pressure?
Definitely a nice looking CAI Gary
If you ever want to sell off any of your mods just let me know....:p

This is pretty much it for the exhaust pop, it's more to do with pressure variations than anything else.
Any catback exhaust should be able to get that popping noise.
Hoping to find a video of a resonator deleted tiguan to see if it's any different to mine.
Mine will burble on liftoff from wide open throttle.
If I had a dollar for every day you've been waiting for such video.....
I know you've been waiting a very long time for that team_v - Would be keen to hear the differences too!

Haha...i think its cheaper to source those goodies outside malaysia...over here our taxation on automotive parts r crazily expensive!!
But anyway,if i decide to sell my tig in future, will definitely strip all mods down n sell as stock...n put everything up far sale!! lol...
