Tiguan OPS

Hello,
I bought the 2013 Tiguan 118TSI which doesn't have the OPS as standard. However I had the headunit upgraded to the RCD510 which is capable of OPS. I was wondering if anyone knew that if I fitted rear and front sensors could I make the OPS work in the headunit or because it was not standard from the factory i'm screwed.

You would have to buy an OEM kit which are avaliable off ebay and aftermarket VAG specialists for around $350 and you would also need to have access to someone with VCDS to code your car's various modules to tell it the OPS system is installed.

Rather fit an OEM reverse camera providing your RCD510 is the older Bosch version A unit or you have the top of the range Delphi unit. An OEM camera will cost you around $150 and will be a lot easier to fit than an OPS system
