The sevice guy has got a Tig too and he's buster his cup holder as well. Step... crunch. No more cup holder.

Anyway fortunately I could kind of fit it back together and close mine so the kids will have to deal without a cupholder.

Any idea whether the 2012 model has the same rear cup holders? Might look into it and see if they've improved the design.
Dunno about the 2012 holders, but your story is EXACTLY the same as mine...damn kiddies!

My understanding is the leather option is actually a sports seat. I've been looking for one for a while and would be very keen if you don't go ahead. Would you please let me know if you don't proceed and how to contact the owner? Thanks!

The other diff between the leather seats and the cloth is:
    1) the rear trays located on the back of the front seats.
    2) the passenger front seat folds forward and flat for a larger carrying area. (I dont think the cloth ones do that?)

That was one reason why I got the leather setas...for the option of the larger carrying space.

But I cant see why they could not have made the cloth ones with that ability...

I personally would never get leather again...far too hot and sticky for everyday use.

Go for it Chris, I've decided against it after talking to my mechanic. He says you need a new loom section for the seat to plug into plus it will all need to be programmed via vagcom etc.

i love the heated seats....therefore, i got the leather optioned Tig.
For my preferences, i would always go with leather on euro cars... suit it better...IMO..
