With lowered ride height it will pull the top's inside the guards but i am not sure if the whole thing nees to be inside in QLD or just the top.
I thought my ET35 8.5's were right on the limit.

I am sure a lot of people looking to fit new rims are wondering this. Seems that the 18/19x9 may require the guard extensions as these are fitted in other countries as "standard" when going to this width rim.
Would be good to get some shots on the car... But obviously understand if they're not 100% legal you're probably not going to advertise the fact.
Out with the spirit level... Unless of course you're looking to fit a body kit.

We tested it with a Hoosier A6 245 tyre on it (Which has a tread patch of 260mm) and it all ran inside. This car doesn't have flares on it (yet). When I get some rubber I will take some pics.

I do plan on guard extensions of some form though.

What have you done suspension wise? I think I'll lower mine on H&R springs first, but like to get feedback on other users suspension setups as well.

Well, we have found how the stock launch control works - works pretty damn good for a standard car. The DSG software needs major work - I can see why we sell so much of it now

Wynnston, we will be using Volkswagen Racing Coilovers in this one & we are working with Superpro to have sway bars done.

I have to say that I'm a convert to your DSG software on the Tig.

It makes the standard "D" mode much nicer to drive. Most of the time I just leave it in "D" noiw whereas previously I used the paddles 90% of the time.

Are you thinking of upgrading your steering wheel to one with flappy paddles?

yes Tigger - the more time you spend in it, the quicker you can work out the DSG improvements that can be made! - I have a steering wheel here from a Scirocco R, and that will be bolted on very shortly

- I just need to add that to the list.
