    Sounds like a good idea.
Hopefully it makes a noticeable increase in both power and enjoyability.

I will probably just stick with the Stage 1 + Carbonio when mine arrives as 200kw at the engine should be more than enough for my needs.

If we can have the car for long enough, we will try to do some dyno plots / before & after & with stock airbox on stage 1 as well.

One big benefit we see on the S3 (which runs a K04 turbo) is we get to full spool some 800rpm earlier with the divorced wastegate design. We should see some advantage of that on the Tig as well.

Will look at stainless & mild steel options if it helps with pricing

If a divorced DP is the only one that will fit how does this guy manage to do a traditional type DP on the 4mo Tig?

Only 2.75", up from the stock 2.5", not going to do that much.....

3.0" will not fit ..... .... believe me I've tried to talk a number of people into doing 1 ..... nobody is willing to risk (commercially) a conventional 3.0" as with drivetrain movement it will touch .....

I believe it is a different downpipe.
The one on vortex seems to be a stock downpipe thart has been modified rather than a whole new downpipe solution.

Edit: Damn you Johan, beat me to it.

So the APR one would be a "2.75 with a divorced 0.25" or a "2.5 with a divorced 0.5" downpipe assumably.

Also, even you could make a 3.0" conventional fit, the divorced one provides better airflow and less turbulence for MORE POWER !!!!! (I like power... ... and you can almost never have too much of it)

But ... unfortunately divorced DP is easily 2x more expensive to manufacture ...

EDIT: .... did I happen to mention I like POWER ...

Will this be likely to change the engine note as well?
If so, any chance of getting a before and after vid with sound?

Go for it Sharkie - bastard!

But hey, I can't even get myself organised to pick up the carbonio off Guy from last year! At this rate, I'll be fitting it to the new Tig -which I'll probably have to order early next year anyway. (hmmm, just had a thought).
