Tiguan door protection

Hello everybody,

I will be getting my new Tiguan 125 soon, and I would like to ask what choices and ideas there are for protecting the doors from car park dents.

I can think of two options -
the side steps, which most probably will be too expensive;
the door strips which are fitted to the Tiguan Track & Field.

I have no idea whether the Track & Field variant has ever been sold in Australia. If not, how to get them? Any ideas?
I am new to vw - are there any good aftermarket sources that sell accessories for vw cars?

As for the Track and Field strips I doubt VWA would even be able to get those in as they aren't sold here. You'd probably have to source some OS.

Seems the genuine ones cost him 174 pounds. As for getting Track and Field ones, you can probably talk to our friends across the ditch. Seems New Zealand gets the Track & Field variant. Strange the the guys in NZ get the nice option and we don't. Oh well.

Hate to tell you but they're NOT fitted to NZ "track and field" Tiguans. It's something I wouldn't mind myself but to date all the prices I've seen (particularly the freight costs !!!) have been too hot for me !!
