The price difference doesnt worry me.
You are absolutely right, youre talking about $50 k cars.....
I started using it from day one of it's release OCT08 in my other diesel vehicles. http://www.bpultimatebrochures.com.au/
Yes there are additives out there, but the BP already has them. IMHO I believe it is better. Not starting a fuel war though, as I'm sure there are others than would swear by their preference/s.

If you have to, get a BP corporate card and save ".00001315235" cents a Litre.

After 5 days running on Caltex Vortex Premium Diesel it appears fuel economy may not be that much better but time will tell. All I do know is that it runs smoother, less rattling, hesitation and definately much better to drive overall. Only drawback so far is a broken windscreen. Maybe I planted the foot too much?

Looks like I'll have excess 4c coupons from Coles now so my other half can use on PULP for the FSI 2.0 Golf. When BP gets its act together and brings Ultimate to Melbourne, then I'll try it.

Hmmm - why would you pollute the FSI with Shell fuel just because you have 4c coupons....

Be kind to it too - give it BP 98 and forget about the 4c.

Forgo one beer per week and you'll make up the discount ........

So is BP refinery that much better? There isn't any BPs on our travel routes but I'll give it a shot. Maybe Coles will rebrand it "You'll love Coles PULP".

I think it is. My GTI responds best on BP.

My wife always used Shell (Optimax, V-Power, whatever they call it now) in the Sirion GTVi. Recently, during the latest dodgy fuel crisis in Melbourne (fingers were pointed squarely at a couple of brands including Shell) so I told her to get BP.

Even she, who is far from car-aware, noticed the improvement and has been using BP since.
