if you stipulate MY 12 you may find the first deliveries do not occur until December '11 or January '12, worth the wait ?

There's no MY12 Tiguan at this point in time!

So supposedly still rolling out MY11 after calendar week 22 (i.e. June 2011).

Therefore, there can be no mistake or way of denying that MY12 is referring to the "facelift" model and nothing else!

There will be MY12 deliveries this year from mid-late September onwards. These will all be facelifted Tiguans.

They will all be pre-ordered models by the dealers that have been built after mid-June and are currently either on ships on their way here or about to get on ships.

If you order a Tiguan now it will be a MY12 unless you get one that is standing in a holding yard already or just about to land.

MY12's should only be getting off the ships by late August. Anything that gets to Australia before then is MY11 and pre-facelift.

Bottom line is until the facelifted Tiguan is officially released by VWA, you won't be able to get 1. As soon as that official release happens there will be some to buy off the floor .... immediately. Not many as we all know .... but some.
