I know a few people have used various phone apps. Nice thing with yours is how you've built it in. I think people are concerned with leaving a phone on "display" in the car in case someone breaks in.

AutoPolar FIS unit seams to be nice a gadget. I wonder how accurate 0 100 time of these various methods of monitoring performance..What could be the best way to get a proper 0 100 time ? Or it will be good if we can calibrate these things with a reference

The autopolar takes the uncorrected speed from the ECU so this should be pretty accurate. As long as you're not running non-standard tyre sizes it should be pretty close - but obviously isn't calibrated.

There's a few variables like how quickly/often the device is getting updates on the speed measurement and how accurate the timer is as well as the actual speed measurement of course. I reckon these OBD port speedo/timers are probably good for 0.1s accuracy depending on the polling interval.

It would be interesting to run them against a v-box or a "calibrated" timing device to see what the variance is.

Hey Ramee, did you have to have your ECU bench tuned for the APR STG1?

Yes. They say there is no other way to do it. If you want to get stage 1 from them remember to ask for Race fuel (104 OCT ) map too. I forget to ask and could not get it. They will not flash it with out a request because it is risky.

This is usually what could happen to your ECU ... LOL
