The Tiguan TDI has again been left of the fair share orders - no TDI can be ordered from factory. Grab what it's available in the country now or be prepared for a long wait!

I still feel sorry for people who need to get one in a hurry, though.

It is mildly amusing & very frustrating having customers calling up to buy a Diesel Tiguan on the current 2.8% finance promotion.... Sorry, can't supply...

what VW would do to fill that segment? maybe they going to release 118TSI 4motion..:p

How long is a 'Long Wait' likely to be (ballpark figures)? Was potentially looking at a TDI Tiguan as an option in the next 3-6 months but this may change my plans.

Indefinite, - no one knows when we are allowed to order them again.
Given that we just ordered stock for SEPT arrival I'd imagine well into 2013, but it's anyone's guess. If VGA can negotiate more factory production with VW AG, then things may change, but no-one would be able to guarantee you at the moment.

I think this 'shortage' may be temp - like Polo GTIs are popping up all over the place now
