As a bonus you can load lots of stuff on the back including camping gear/kids bikes etc and have room left over.

And finally, none of the notorious Jeep reliability issues plague the Amaroks ......

Lol.. But seriously I feel sad what happening to this thread. Tigger should rename this to " My other car options after Tiguan "

Golf R - it is for you my friend. You and your wife can go racing with stage 2 Tig vs MK 7 R. Kids would love to be in either of those cars

In reality I've got the car to where I am happy with it and now getting a little bored to be honest. I think keeping it as a stage 2 "sleeper" for my wife is a pretty good option to be honest. It's going to have the majority of the mods still on it - just taking off the bits that my wife doesn't like/won't use - including the black plasti-dip on the front grille

I'm actually tossing up getting a car that I won't be encouraged to mod and spending my time/energy on other possibly more productive things. I have enjoyed it. It has been a bit self-indulgent. Could you call it a mid-life crisis - quite possibly. Has it been fun - yes. If I was in the same situation would I do it again - absolutely!!!!

Anyway it's time for a new chapter and if I can help a few people out with some parts to build their dream cars all the better

Wonder if you can beat my 169 days of sensibility..

Have you considered if any of the children are a bit more of a hassle then perhaps 'losing' one somewhere and solving the space issue that way?

I think I'll have to wait for the 2-seater sports until the kids all have left home

I'll take your suggestion on-board but if you see me at the next VWW event with a swag in the back I think you'll know what the response was from the wife.

haha .. I resently told to a friend of mine who was in two minds to get a gt86, but not sure about wife approval, that he can have his baby in the tiny back seat and wife in the front seat untill baby grow up and then devorce the wife and get the child to the front seat.
