    Don't do it mate.
They VW Racing wheels are hideous and are actually heavier than a lot of the other wheels out there.

Yes I'm aware that the OZ Racing wheels are quite a bit lighter.

Looks are a subjective thing. I quite like the Anthracite wheels on a black car. I'm not a huge fan of black on black though which is a common colour for the VW Motorsport wheels.

The main things that attract me to the Motorsport wheels is keeping things OEM (well from the outside at least). Also they are one wheel available in 19" with close to the right width/offset so there's not a massive selection when you decide to go back to OEM.

Look the ducks-nuts though (in the black)
Why are you thinking of changing? Nothing wrong with the Oz ones IMO....
Just plasti-dip them black to match the rest

OK sounds like I'll have to at least edit the pics to see what the black wheels are going to look like on my car.

There are some bits about the Ultraleggeras that I love - spoke shape, fitment on the car. However there's 2 things that I'm not 100% on and that is the treatment in and around the centre of the wheel. There's quite a large extension around the centre cap... and then also the centre cap itself. I have toyed with the idea of just changing the centre caps and that's probably the route I'll end up going down.

I'm about to change tyres on the car so it's kind of a decision point as far as which rims to put tyres onto (I already have the tyres). If there was someone that wanted the OZ's then I'd consider putting an OEM rim back on my car - even though I know it's a backward step in terms of weight etc.

Firstly, can you give me your photo editor lol.. I'm stuck using MS Paint to do my wheel changes.

    Secondly, don't do it.

I'm not sold on the Motorsport design - if anything it's a pity the Rotary doesn't come in 19 and right offset, that could otherwise work. I could see the centre cap thing working. Depending on how my new OZ look I might even do the same if they look OEM enough, if so I'll have to check in on where you sourced the caps as I am guessing I'd need the same size.

I've seen 19 inch Omanyts on a Tiguan which work really well, perhaps a change to them and finish them off yourself in anthracite. Alternatively if you're allowed to move within the VAG family then why not something off the Audis or even a Porsche (although I don't know what fitment is like ex Porsche).

    OK Here's Motorsports in black:

Seems to be some strong opinions on these... perhaps not so good for resale

Firstly I use Powerpoint for editing photos. It's a bit crappy but you kind of get the idea. First you find a picture of the wheel on another car then you cut and paste it onto a photo of your car. Stretch it and rotate it to make it fit. Then you have to copy and pste small cropped versions of your original photo all around the wheel that you have added to remove all the bits of the tyre/wheel arch that don't match. It would be good if Powerpoint had an airbrush to take out some of the edges but it doesn't.

Second I think I'll just get some new centre caps. The carbon look caps just don't go with anything else on my car so I think maybe I'll just change these at this stage. It's cheaper and there's no OEM wheels as light as the OZ wheels anyway.

Yes I like the Rotary but as you say these only come in 18" size. Also I think I'd run into issues with offset as I think they're only ET50(ish) for Golfs.

Will have a look at the Omanyts - there's a few photos around with these but none that I could see that on a lowered Tig in black.

I'd consider Audi wheels but I think the Porsche wheels need adapters and I'm not going down this path.

Those just don't do it for me either, I'm with Clay.

How about a set of these instead?

I think if I do change it will to go back to an OEM rim. Either VW or Audi.

Yes I know that does limit things in terms of sizes offsets but after having some nice aftermarket rims on the car I'm swinging back towards OEM.

Not dissimilar to my methodology in paint, the stretch tool is limited so makes it hard to do anything besides standard side on.

Correct on the Rotarys, clearly designed only for the Golfs.

I can easily 'lower' this pic later on my laptop (on tablet at the moment) but not hard to picture anyway, I think they look pretty good. Really just depends if you want more of what I'd call a classy sports look, or a more aggressive race look. The wheels Sharkie put up fall into the second category.
