Fun indeed!
Shouldn't take more than 1/2 hr ( with the right tools that is, which looks like you've got covered).
Good thinking with the srynge - biggest PITA was getting the Haldex fluid back in (other than getting solenoid/controller out if that sticks)

Thanks guys - might have to do some more extensive testing AdamD but maybe not on the long weekend where there's a lot of people on the roads. Hopefully Dutchy gets his Mk7 GTI shortly and we can take them both for a test drive

Let me tell you this thing eats round-abouts for breakfast now.

Before it would understeer if you pushed it. And in all reality understeer isn't that much fun. But now it's just neutral and you kind of go corner? what corner?

So it's definitely got the smile factor

It's definitely a nice upgrade but not something that I'd do if it was just being used as a school taxi - wife didn't notice anything when she drove it so it's a stealth upgrade

If your wife had noticed it, I'd be equally impressed by your wife's driving style, and disappointed for your chances of stealing the keys from her.

Dutchy will be with GTI end of week and looking forward to checking out this black beast soon, I haven't even seen it in the metal since you got taste and added OZ wheels.

I'd actually be asking her how she tested out the Haldex by just driving up Port Rd!!!

Reality is she doesn't like attracting attention on the road so rarely takes it over 3,000RPM. If you start taking it over that then the exhaust starts to bark so I think she prefers to potter around - which suits me just fine

Yes there's been quite a few changes since I took you out for a quick spin. Some subtle changes to the exterior (lowering, wheels and some plasti-dip highlights) plus a change of tune and a bit more power unleashed by upgrading the intercooler and of course Haldex which you don't really feel until you start pushing it a bit around some corners.

Looking forward to seeing your new GTI... counting down the sleeps

Thinking about getting some new rims....

Has anyone got any pics of the Motorsport wheels on a Tig? They are available in 19x8 ET41 which I think would be OK fitment.

Anyone interested in a set of OZ wheels???
