I like this idea ..... as a bonus the Amarok has the best access to the turbo on ANY VW I have ever seen.

Got a new little gadget. Should have time to fit the Sprintbooster sometime over the weekend.

Nice - they help with the throttle lag. I have one too. Takes all of 5 mins to install neatly so get out there now

I'm liking these ideas. What would the parts cost be to do a k03k04 hybrid?

Sorry guys no turbo upgrade on the cards here. Not unless I get a small windfall and even then it's unlikely.

Got the Sprint Booster installed. Relatively simple except I couldn't find a way to get the pedal off without busting the tabs holding it to the floor. Oh well I guess I'll have to upgrade the pedals now too

No opportunity to test tonight. Will probably find the setting I like and pull the plug on the remote.

Yes but then you have to tune it and for better or worse I've headed down the APR path on the tuning front. Also if I'm going to put a K04 into the Tig, I'd want/need to upgrade the brakes at the same time... Then it would be a real weapon. But seeing as I'm not tracking it or putting it down the drag strip there doesn't seem to be much point.

I'm really interested to see how the Sprint Booster goes in conjunction with my DSG tune.

Well who would have thought that such a little box would have such a big effect on how the car drives.

It has definitely improved how the car gets off the line. "Red" is just a bit too enthusiastic for day to day driving but "green" is pretty much right.

May play with it a bit more before pulling the plug on the switch.

These are US$299 from most places online. Ended up costing AUD$321 landed with purchase of 2x units.

It's a lot for just an inline adapter but I think the improvement is worth it.
