I did see your honeycomb flow straightener. The flow comes from very close to the same location as stock pipework so I'm pretty certain that the readings would be similar.
If your intake retains the OEM plastic MAF housing near the battery then you have no worries. Throw the carbon intake back on and enjoy a few extra kilowasps and the sound.

Hi guys. Just wanted to check how much does Pedders charge for installing the rear sway bar in the Tiguan. He can't seem to give me a figure over the phone. Thanks.

Rear sway bar install should take less than 30mnts max. I would not pay more than $100. (My previous mechanic charged me $30 to fit a rsb to my mk6 gti for his time).

Diy is pretty easy, but it depends if u r comfortable with rsb install diy.

+1. 30minute job in a workshop with a hoist. 6 bolts to undo replace stock bar with upgraded bar and redo 6 bolts.

Hmm. What do you think is the best rear sway to go for Whiteline? and 24mm or 22mm?

Thanks very much for that! He doesn't sound confident saying he's never done one before in a Tiguan. Seems pretty straight forward.

If you're just doing the rear I would consider the 22. If you were doing both I'd go the 24 front and back.

That's just my gut feel and based on having the 24 on the back of mine with the stock sway bar on the front. I think in this configuration the back is stiffer than the front.

You probably want to have it the other way around with front stiffer or at least balanced. That's my thoughts.

Also I wouldn't bother changing the front sway bar unless you were running it on the track.

Yea. Reading everyone's comments in the past and now yours as well, that the front stock bar is pretty good for general every day use, I'm thinking of changing the rear to the 22mm one too. Good to heat you've confirmed my thoughts and that helps my decision making. I want it balanced... And yes, if anything I'd prefer the front a tiny bit stiffer. But I'll leave the front stock...

Will call Pedders on Monday. Only thing is they would need to order one in as none of their other branches had any RSB in stock. $35 extra for freight...

Intake went back on yesterday. No noticeable change to performance but I now get some intake noise and some DV action
