no no no borbor. We don't want any more Tig owners. There's too many already!

But in all seriousness whoistheg, tell your mum to go with the Forester - great car, good resale, practical, economical, just a great all round package. Much better than a Tig - honestly.

I bought my wife a Tiguan 147 with the works; satnav, park assist, leather, 18" wheels

She loves it; powerful, smooth to drive, top quality build, the only complaint has been the lack of a proper boot but we knew that going in

    Its a great chick car.....

.... Ouch that hurts ... even if its true ... majority of Tiguan owners are women .... reason we don't see it on the forum is because they can't be bothered to talk to us here ....

Incidentally, my Tig is also the wifes .... though I have it on loan until my car arrives ....

It does get a bit of a reputation as a girly/soccer-mum car.
We will just have to fix that with the help of APR

they're all chick cars - polos, golfs, jettas, EOS (in particualr), passats, even the touregs are seen more often with the wife behind the wheel. Only real man's cars VW make aren't cars but the vans - and that's only because you can put your tools and your bike in there. If you want a man's car made by VW then the only one is the Veyron.

But that's why the Tig is such good fun - what better sleeper for when those falcon and dunniedoor boys think they have the goods on mum's SUV, and even more fun is to be had with the subi owners

agree be great to see the face of someone in their forester turbo, when they are blown away by the chipped Tig, well that is, if they haven't chipped theirs

I love the Tigs motor its awesome, and bye bye stock forester turbo, but thats not entirely fair, chipping and modding the forester turbo motor would soon see us frowning - though that 4 speed auto might chew up a fair bit of the extra verve
