    Tig gone!!!

Yes, it's gone. My Tig has been sold - fortunately to someone that I know- and that I know will care for it as I did. Already missing it though.

What next? hmmm lots of interesting VW models out now - I'm going to risk going back to a sedan now rather than an SUV, so a few more choices.

But I'll keep sticking my head in here occasionaly just to see how everyone's travelling. Thanks to everyone that's been such a help and a wealth of info - Sharkie, Pullstarter, teamV and everyone else that was here from the start of the Tigs in australia. I'll let you know what I end up with!

I may have found a Tig successor...................maybe Make sure you let us know what you get and we must have pics of course

Sad news .... +1 for keeping us in the loop with what you're getting next ....

Sadly, the Tigs which used to be almost a niche product are getting to be too common. Whilst it is an exceptional small family SUV most of the current drivers are not enthusiasts and don't appreciate it the way we do.

As much as it pains me to say, its become automotive whitegoods, just like Toyotas ....

BTW, mine is stock now and will go soon as well, to make place for something more exciting ....

Sad to hear mate...but exciting as well!...everything moves on.

I agree that there are too many 'normal' non enthusiasts driving tigs now. I do the small casual wave when I pass one, and have only had one non soccer-mum even notice it is a Tig!

I too am about to move on to a skoda VRS wagon....still keeping it in the family I guess?

My kms have just built up too quickly using it everyday.

I know I will miss it too though....

Hey, I agree with you about the V6 Passat. It is a beast!...I may even see if I can justify this for my 'work'car.
