So is that 930 calculated using the current average consumption? I don't usually fill mine right up unless i'm going away. Generally just put fifty bucks worth in...
Tranno, i do 10k's each way to work, 6k's suburbia & 4 k's freeway. Best was 6.9, but usually +/- 9.0 (stage1 APR, but it was the same before the upgrade).

That's right it was filled and it was based on the average fuel consumption. I was pretty impressed.

    125TSI manual.
That's what I'm thinking she would get or even worst since it would be the tiptronic auto.

After 5,500km I'm averaging 10.1L per 100km (that's by tracking fuel receipts and not from the MFD). Caveat on this is I live near Paramatta and mostly drive in the city.

Of course the fwd 1.4L will be better on fuel!
    No, it won't be 1.4L

    Thanks guys.

Anyone done this well in a 147 Tig? I'm interested to know what maximum people have got. This was after a country drive out to Forbes and back to Sydney. Usually I get 450km being in Sydney.
    Holy cow!

I tend to consistently get 820 to 840 and I drive a mix of highway and urban (not city).

Transporter, I drive Tiggy to work every day in Brisbane....around 10-12kms each way. 125TSI manual no mods....average 10l/100km on the drive to work, and this is driving normally, not granny driving like Team V to get his high 8's!!!

Have VW gone back to the tiptronic auto on the petrol Tiguans? Why would they do that?

Good question, why would they do that? Maybe they have too many tiptronics transmissions in stock or maybe it's something else?
We have tiptronioc in our TDI Tig and I can't fault it, you hear no complaints from people, unlike the DSG Tigs and Golfs.

I'm also looking at the 132 and I believe there is no auto option for the tiguans, only DSG or manual.

I've just checked the VW website to confirm.

After owning a DSG GTI, no way you'd want a torque converter auto (whilst under warranty! Haha). Manual is still more fun.

Checked under the bonnet and noticed my coolant is low. There is no warning light/sound on.

Photo taken after standing for 3+ hours on near level floor. I am going away for a week in the Tig and estimate I'll do about 1200km.

What are people's thoughts? Given I'm leaving tomorrow morning do you think I'll get by without topping up? Do I need to adopt any driving techniques, ie not driving aggressively?
