Another sucessful outing at Lakeside Raceway for Happy Laps.
Had the pleasure of playing with some Focus XR5's and RS's.
They are pretty quick on the straights but I would say the Tig is quicker all around due to AWD.
They were slower through corners which in turn slowed me down when i followed.

The Lotus was there too but i never really saw it so i must have been keeping pace.

700ks to Melbourne. Set the cruise at 119 for 90% of the trip. Fuel 8.0l per 100 kph. No complaints from this old fella

After leaving Melbourne, I drove to Mildura. Much the same driving style as the trip to Melbourne from Canberra, but averaged 8.5 litres per hundred ks. From Mildura to Narranderra was with a tank of 95 ron. There was also a bit of a head wind. This time I was back to 9.3 lphk. Filled up in Narranderra and the return to Canberra saw an average of 8.1 lphk, but the trip in to Canberra was pretty slow for the last 50k.

The tune is fantastic, it makes the car more driveable, passing is an absolute breeze and to be totally honest driving is just a whole heap of fun. The best money I have ever spent on a car without any doubt. Obviously I would recommend the APR tune to anybody with a Tiguan. In fact, I fail to see why anybody wouldnt want to have the tune and I dont have any link with APR.

So i finally found a shop that sells LED lights for the front map housing.
I tried ordering some Blesk ones as per Aussietig's reccomendation however they never showed up and i had to get a refund which was a bit difficult.

Ordered 4 from these guys based in Australia

Do you get any error codes from these LEDs?

No error codes form any of the LED's i installed.

They did flicker for a few seconds when i insalled them but i didn't have the car on or hte key in the ignition so it was probably drawing a weird amount of power from the battery.

I just turned the car onto accesories nad back off again and it all sorted itself out.

I have 2 of these spare since i had to order 4 to get the order shipped to me and i believe they are the same bulbs as the city lights (parkers) so i will see what i can do to fit them tonight.

SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They fit into the parking light housing!
No bulb out warning or flickering.

Will post up a few pictures tonight.
Might have to try with the 4SMD chip bulbs as well.

And i have maintained my 100% failure rate with installing LED bulbs in the correct polarity direction.

Looking forward to those pics TeamV! I've got a set of licence plate LEDs that are throwing an error as well.

Assuming they are "error free", you might be able to get rid of it by turning off the cold lamp monitoring using VCDS.
