Drew, I organise them through Lakeside Raceway for the Watercooled forum.
There is a thread in the events section however the next one already has 13 people on the reserve list :|
I will let you know when i organise the next one though.
And you are free to come along and spectate/photograph/passenger if you like.

When i saw you had 2 x 14 min vids up, i thought "i'll just have a quick look at a few minutes of each of these" but found them captivating & enjoyed both all the way through!
Have felt that 'steering wheel wrench' thing a few times, didn't realize it was the traction control working... Good to know!
Any Melb's know if they have these sort of events at Sandown or Calder Pk or Phillip Island?
Also, Clay, have you ever considered a short-shift mechanism?
Cheers, Thanks for sharing the video!
I didn't realise the steering wheel wrench was the traction control either until i turned it off.

I have entertained the idea but hadn't found anything suitable before i bought my place and am now spending money on the house rather than the car.
The engine mount does seem to make it a slot slicker but the vibrations through the car were too much with the APR one.

Is that the torque arm insert i read about a while back?

Right... off on a minor tangent here! I have found my manual gearbox a little 'unforgiving' for want of a better word & have wondered if others do as well? Seems like you have to be fairly precise & use a little more clutch than what i am used to (manual driver for 30 years), with the gear change on my tiggy... Normal? I get a bit of a clunk, mainly from 1st to 2nd unless i more or less 'ride' the clutch for an extra ~ half a second or so.
Hard to explain, really, but has anyone else experienced something like this or have a suggestion?

Yes the torque arm insert is the one i am talking about.
APR's was a bit rough for me, i have heard black forrest industries and neuspeed may be softer.

I find it a lot better than other cars but all the others ones i have driven were older and had a worn out clutch haha

I've not experienced it between 1st and 2nd, but I do get it a lot between 2nd and 3rd. I find if the clutch isn't hard up against the floor right at the precise moment you change from 2nd to 3rd, she "clunks" into 3rd big time. I really have to concentrate changing 2nd to 3rd when I'm giving it a boot full now that's for sure.

Be very careful doing quick changes 2nd to 3rd on the manual boxes ...... I destroyed a clutch doing a quick change under full throttle.
