I've put in a bicycle front fork mount which attaches to the (now missing) rear seat bolt down points - i can fit two bicycles (potentially 3) side by side, upright in the back, all while leaving boot space for other things. AND i still have 3 seats available in the car for use - it's pretty rare for me to have any more than that
    - myself driving, and 2 mates is fine usually..

    Heaps of room!
That sounds awesome, we definitely need pictures!
Big sucker punch to the people who claimed the Tig boot space was too small.

Took the Tig down to Seaworld on the weekend.
Handled the trip extremely well, 8.5L/100km average with aircon and reasonably loaded (5 adult's + esky + extra clothing)
Ride was so smooth and quiet we had 2 passenger's fall asleep on the way down and back.

Dropping the OEM downpipe off to Guy/James at Harding Performance tomorrow morning so they can do some testing.

Also hoping to get the security unlock code for the Zenec unit as i have been advised of a working map solution which i would like to see if i can get working.

Have been lucky enough to had my Tig for a while now and been running the Stage 1 upgrade for a while, and it's well worth it.

So what to do next? The Carbon CAI looks like the next step..and after reading this thread the downpipe too. Any idea if APR are mkaing it available for all or are you just the lucky recipent of this 3" prototype?

I'm pretty sure they'll make the prototype on request but may be worth waiting until a production version comes out as I imagine it will be cheaper?

I haven't seen a Golf R up close but as it uses the 4Mo also, i'd wonder if the components would be similar or even identical for the Tig?

also very curious about golf R DP's... It has a k04 turbo though doesn't it? Not a k03?... Wonder if the flange is the same, or similar enough to modify.. Hmmm

I would go the Carbonio intake first and see how that goes.
I dropped my downpipe off to APR so asumably they are doing some testing on it to make a production version of the upgraded one.

You would have to check with Guy_H about the Golf R downpipe but i doubt it would work otherwise they could just use the one from the S3.

Just to confirm what parts of the intake did you require for the Tiguan - Intake, Intake Pipe, Ram Air Bracketry & Breather Filter? Or only some?

Also stage 2 software...........Is that a special tune they've done taking into account the modifications or just the next level in the pre-programmed APR software?

Thanks for the information in advance, i'm just waiting for another APR sale

I don't think the Tig needs a breather filter, I know the MY09 models didn't but not too sure about the MY10?
