    Washed the car today.
I forgot how nice the wheels look when they are clean, they really capture the light well.
I got used to them being matte grey, now it looks awesome.

Can i just reiterate how awesome the nanolex sealant is.
The car is a breaze to wash, dead bugs come off with relative ease and the wheels can be back to original clean condition in 5 minutes max for all 4.
The water was still beading on it when i rinsed the car.

Looking into a reverse camera option, Northfield stock the oem one and can retrofit it with a kufatec adaptor so i will see if they can solve my bulb out light as well.

Yep have to agree here. I washed mine for the first time on the weekend after sealing with the nanolex. Washed like a breeze and came up glowing afterwards. I did notice that the car beaded better before washing so I'm wondering if my car wash detergent removes some of the nanolex sealant? What product do you use to wash the car with Team V?

I wish I'd sealed my rims before using them as it takes me a good 15 minutes to wash the rims (all 4 of them).

    Washing procedure is as follows:
Rinse the car with a hose.
Wash the car with Duragloss Car Wash Concentrate (smells like cherry) using the 2 bucket method and a micrfibre wash mit.
Wash the wheels with a chux rag (i know, hoping to get a vikan wheel brush for christmas)
    Then rinse again.
Dry with a shamwow (lol - i know i need to get a microfibre towel, maybe for christmas)
Apply nanolex spray on sealant to the body pannels and wheels every 4 washes, leave for 5-10 minutes, then buff with a microfibre buffing cloth.

I am extremely thankful for the research i did into detailibng before i got the car.
The pre-fitting sealant does a top job, 15 minutes to clean the wheels would be annoying.
Maybe take them off and give them a good clean and seal them now, might have to use a powerful wheel cleaner though.

Are you coming to the Euro Xmas meetup at Hamilton?

That exit is a pain at the best of times, you actually have to give it a squirt to exit.
Nice to know the car stands out

2 bucket system entails using one bucket with warm water and car shampoo (wash bucket) and another with warm/cold water (rinse bucket).
You dip the wash mitt into the wash bucket then wash a section of the car.
Then rinse the mitt off in the rinse bucket which stops all teh dirty bits getting into the clean wash bucket.
apparently it reduces swirls and damage ot the car, it is a common method in detailing from what i have read.

I actually have a snow foamer, it just doesn't get used much as it is used to wash the house with.
I will have a look at the nanolex reactiviating shampoo, i just used duragloss as it was the best shampoo that i had read about on the CCP website.

    Thanks for the tips.

Ah I see, thanks for the info on the 2 bucket system. I found with the nanolex that most of the dirt washed off with the hose when I rinsed the car first before washing. Bucket didn't get half as dirty then.

As for the Euro meet.....ummmmm, it's scheduled for Friday 17th.....doesn't any b@stard work? I can't make it as I'm working that morning and then on the gas (alcohol) that afternoon with 2 Xmas parties!!!!

Bugger me, that stuff aint cheap!!!

When you say use it every month.....do you also wash you car with something other than this more frequently, or do you only wash your car once a month with this stuff only?

The nanolex does help wash a lot of the dirt off but you would be surprised at just how dirty the rinse bucket gets from grime that hangs on to the car.
I didn't realise how much there was until i used the 2 buckets and now i will only wash the car with 2 buckets.

I work but my work is more flexible so i can leave a tad early to get to the meet ups.
Shame you can't make it, but at least you'll have fun at the work xmas party.

I only wash my car once every 4-6 weeks so the nanolex shampoo could be an option when my Duragloss runs out (won't be for a while though as i got the big bottle.)
