    Hi

I am almost there with running in the 147. From 1000 kms to 1300 kms (now) I have been gradually increasing the speeds and revs. Once I get to 1500kms, is there anything I need to do specifically?

Does hitting 1500 kms means the engine is run in? Is it business as usual? I note the first service is only at 7500kms.

I am about to take it across the Nullarbor, driving from Albany, WA to Adelaide and possi ly to Melbourne on a 15 day trek? Anything I need to worry about or look into (in terms of having run in the engine) before I start the trek?

Would like to hear life after running in the engine.

    Cheers
    Surubalak

Without starting another "running in" thread that will involve loads of different opinions (all backed by expert proof and will result in a flame war etc etc), just drive it normally and don't worry about the running in periiod now. You'll be fine! Enjoy your trip, sounds great!
