We love the sunroof too, although I do find that combined with the leather it can get quite hot, and this takes a bit longer to cool down after being parked outside.
I drive a lot for work and am in and out quite a bit. That means just as I get it cool again, I have to turn things off and see the next client.
I would love a way of keeping the aircon running while still being able to lock the car while seing my clients for a few minutes. Any tips?

On a hot day you can prevent the heat from building up inside a parked car by leaving the sun roof slightly open and letting the hot air escape. Of course this should only be done if you are able to keep an eye on the car.

Somthing similar to a turbo timer perhaps but you would have ac wiring setup to run through the turbo timer and set the running time to 3 or 4 min

I've never had a sunroof on a car before, and we ended up with one on our new Tig by accident (factory mistake). Are there any special care instructions, or precautions to take? We are looking for roof racks and have found some (from a post on this website) that will fit with the sunroof, because we want to use our kayaks. We never wanted the sunroof because we're scared of sand and crap scratching the glass......... anyone have any suggestions???

Make sure the drainage areas are free-flowing (i.e. don't have leaves clogging htem up) as i believe the US Tig's have bene having a few issues with their sunroof's.

There is a few threads on vortex about it.
