Steering Wheel coding

Wondering if anyone could help with steering wheel coding on a 2010 Tiguan. I recently installed a Bluetooth module and was told to change coding on steering wheel to either a 4 or 8. Once I changed it to 8 it looked my out from my changing codes on my steering wheel and now have lost all functions including paddles, mute, volume control and accessing mdf.
Anyone know how to get these functions working again? Opened vcds and says steering wheel coded incorrectly. Anyone could give me some advice or know anyone who could help? Regards
