Squeaky Tiguan 2010 YM
Hi,
My Tiguan is 9 years old, but only 60,000 kilometres, and hardly ever driven on an unsealed road.
It has been squeaky all over when going over bumps for some time now. Definitely lots more than when it was new. It is hard to tell where it comes from, but it does not sound like one single place.
Taking it to a service centre could be counter productive if they have smooth roads in the neighbourhood.
Is this a known problem? Should I ignore it or is it something that would be better fixed ASAP ?

This is something you could bring up at your annual service.
Older cars get squeaks and rattles - it’s a fact of life.
Even though your car has low km there’s a lot of rubber seals and suspension components which age with time.
My thoughts with squeaks and rattles is that you can spend a lot of time finding them and most people are not prepared to pay someone $120-150 an hour to look for / fix rattles in their car.
If you’re worried I’d get it up on a hoist and get all the suspension and engine/driveline checked and re-torqued. At least that way the major mechanical components are fine and it’s just some trims/ loose wires inside panels / extra screws which got dropped or clips that have come off.
